Bullseye Alerts ("we", "us") provides a mobile app that delivers stock-trade ideas, market commentary, and push notifications. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, and how to contact us.
What we collect
- Account data: first/last name, phone number (required for SMS verification), and optionally an email address.
- Authentication data: a hashed password (we never store the plaintext) and short-lived session tokens.
- Device tokens: APNs / FCM push tokens so we can deliver notifications, plus your notification preferences.
- Usage analytics: aggregate counts of how many times posts are opened (per post, not per user). We do not build a per-user behavior profile.
- Diagnostic logs: server logs needed to operate the service (request IDs, error traces). Personal identifiers like email are redacted from these logs.
How we use it
- To create and secure your account, send SMS verification codes (via Twilio), and deliver the alerts you sign up for.
- To improve the product (which posts get the most opens, which scanner thresholds are useful).
- To respond when you contact support.
What we do NOT do
- We do not sell your personal data.
- We do not share your phone number, email, or name with third-party advertisers.
- The app does not contain third-party advertising SDKs or tracking pixels.
Third-party processors
- Twilio — SMS delivery for phone verification only. Twilio receives your phone number and the code we ask it to send.
- Replit / Neon / Google Cloud — hosting and database storage for our backend.
- Apple / Google — push notification delivery (APNs / FCM). Only opaque device tokens are exchanged.
Market data
Market data shown in the app is sourced from different third-party providers depending on the feature:
- Trend scanner (per-symbol price bars and indicators) — US-equity IEX bars from Alpaca Markets, delayed approximately 15 minutes.
- Top Movers (gainers / losers / most-active lists) — Webull's public gainers/losers feed (
webull.com/quote/us), with Yahoo Finance used as a fallback if Webull is unavailable.
Quotes shown in the app may be delayed by at least 15 minutes. Availability, latency, and accuracy depend on the underlying provider, the exchange, and the current trading session. The data is informational only, is not investment advice, and should not be the sole basis for any trading decision.
Account deletion
You can delete your account from inside the app under Profile → Settings → Delete account. Deletion removes your subscriber row, hashed password, push tokens, and notification preferences. Aggregate analytics counters are retained but contain no personal identifiers. You may also email support@bullseyealerts.com to request deletion.
Children
Bullseye Alerts is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Changes
If we materially change this policy we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in-app.
